This one is on my buy list! But... I do have a sorta-question/maybe-harrumpf... I looked at the pics and almost everything looked really sharp and nicely-done - and it's a cool addition indeed if those fuel drum and cans - Hungarian versions, I presume- will come in the kit. But... I am less certain about what I am seeing behind that casement on the left and right sides of the above-fender hull... I'm looking at the area where on a panzer IV you have these heavy louver systems for the cooling-air intake. On this Zrinyi II kit, I am not sure what is being represented there, but it can't be a similar pair of intake structures, can it? They certainly don't appear to have any clear interior relief or depth- IF they are cooling intakes or similar vents, this looks like something which would want more or better? I cannot make much out of the kit image relative to what is suggested in the box-art pic. Any ideas on these? Bob

The same question arised elswhere, so I copy my information to here as well: Those are indeed the covers of the ventillation of the engine compartment. I asked my fellow modellers, who are more familiar with this vehicle. There were four moveable flaps behind the bars, opening inwards. The two short sections at each ends were fixed. When the flaps were closed those were flush with the side armor. On the picture which shows the moveable running gear you can see that the bars are separate parts from the hull, a part of the top rail is broken. Whether the cover flaps behind it are separate ones too, can be installed in an opened position or not, it can not be decided from the pictures. Showing the vehicle with closed flaps, the kit is correct.

Boss, it would be definetely a big hit. I hope it is the reason why the only surviving piece in Hungary is not displayed in any museum since it was renovated. Maybe the Bronco engineers have take it to China?
