Lion Roar will be releasing a photo etched set for Bronco’s Buffalo 6x6 MPCV in the next 3 - 4 weeks, so if you like adding etched parts to your models take a look inside.
I suspect that this set from will get the biggest cheer for including the bar armour for the model with a few other nice additions to the set. Armorama would like to thank Guido Hopp for bringing this future release to out attention.

I know I'm dragging this up a bit, but my Buffalo upgrade set has just arrived and I can confirm that it does include the slat armour. The set runs to 16 frets of PE (including a former for the slat armour) as well as three lengths of brass wire in various diameters. Cheers, Ian

Thank you for the Information Ian, what did it end up costing you for all that brass?

BAR armour on a Canadian A2, but I would think it would be the same on the A1. Do they use brass square stock for this? Jim

Darren, I bought mine from Lucky Model at surprisingly affordable $32.99 USD with free postage. It is still listed at the same price: http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=LR%20AS35019 Jim, no, the PE slat armour is flat. Edit: the PE frets, 4 main slat armour frets at top left: Cheers, Ian

Very interesting to see this, but sadly this is the bar armour used on the US version, so it looks like I'm still goign to have scratch build the British version of bar armour when I finally build this thing

BUFFALO SLAT/BAR: Sadly because in 1/1 the bar armor is square, there is no true accurate 1/35 representation of this item. Brass rod is not right nor is flat plate. Todd

The lasting bar armour provided in the kit is actually quite good and goes together very well. See my pics in the " Herd of Buffalo" thread
