Looks awesome ...I have a real soft spot for this vehicle as one of the first dioramas I ever saw was in the now Defunked Military Modeller Magazine back in the 70's of of a 222 and a 263 crossing a bridge.. I was hooked from then on building armor..So this is a must have ...I might just try a dio after many years of just building kits! Wonder how close I could get to the image I still have in my head!. And 35060 is also an unused number - probably reserved for the M60 series (obvious choice after the release of M48).

I love early war armor and this fits in nicely with the rugged/ugly shapes. Lovely details.

Looks great. A couple of things stand out to me, having studied the Panzertracts book on this for the tiny Dragon version; the most clear photos seem to show that the upper body plate actually slightly overlaps the lower plate, the reason for the very dark looking line where they meet, because of the deep shadow caused by the slight rim, as it were. The pennant holder and the little access cover that sits right under the apex of that same join does mark this out as an earlier model, later versions having that deleted; I wonder if that will be an option. The same cover should be almost set flush into the body, rather than standing out by the same amount as the crew escape hatch that is just under it. The added on nose armour is more often seen on later models, though there is at least one photo which is thought to show it back-fitted to such an early model; again this may well be an option in the kit. Finally, the join where the fixed turret armour has been attached to the standard body should be almost invisible rather than a heavy weld seam - even on very clear photos it is often not visible at all; no doubt it would be easy to reduce. Anyway, these are not criticisms, merely observations (and I suppose this may not even be the finished article) based on similar things I noticed with the Dragon braille version. In fact I'd love to review this one too...
