The Dark Yellow is pretty good, not as green as Vallejo's. It does have more "tooth" to it and sands easily. The grit isn't noticeable with a coat of paint on it. Not as impressed with the Black, it doesn't seem to coat as well as the Grey and Dark Yellow. Kimmo

Invest in a variable temperature soldering station if you ever want to do PE , that's the only way to go . And if you want to solder stay away from Eduard's nickel plated PE .

I thin AK primers with Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner if needed, works for me. They lay down very smooth (the black primer also) no grainy effect, no clogging etc.

Been using the AMMO by Mig primers (White/black) and whoa its brilliant !! Yes I have compared AK's primers vs AMMO and there IS a difference though never had a problem with the black..could be the quality of the other member's airbrush me thinks ;-p

If you were referring to me, I should have specified I hand brush. There's a translucent quality to the Black that doesn't happen with the other two and needs constant stirring otherwise you can see grey swirls forming. It might just be a bad batch, who knows? Kimmo

I have a question about the ak chipping fluid. I currently use tamiya acrylics. Can I use the ak chipping fluid with these paints, or will it only work with ak paints?

It works fine with Tamiya paints.
