DEF Model 35009: The pattern was not really exact. Cramps were too much near and their shape was incorrect. Marking and lines have been added on the side of the tires. I think the rim was also retooled.

I have several sets of DEF Model wheels, got them from Sprue Brothers, excellent wheels and they include masks to help paint them.

DO M1117 wheels really have those raised lines radiating from the hub on the tire? I was looking at pictures and cannot really see them...are they there and just not visible or do they wear off fast?

Yes these lines are present but I'm agree with you, it seems they are practically invisible on a dirty and worn tire, and even on recent tire. It's the same thing with several other modern tires like M1070 tires, M-ATV tires...

I can pick it out on the second picture but the other two look more like the original wheels by DEF. Interesting...I may use a sanding stick to reduce those lines on the new wheels then
