Bronco Models has informed the KitMaker Network of some new releases. The first two we will cover here is WW2 British Airborne Equipment and workable tracks for the M26/46.
Bronco Models has become a real powerhouse in the model industry today with some great new releases. This is the first of three stories from them today where we get an advance look at;
T80E1 Workable Track Link Set Steel Type for the M26/M46; interestingly Bronco Models has included drive wheels with this offering. The wheels cover the M26/M46 for the Korean War period.

The second offering covered here looks at a WW2 British Airborne Weapons and Equipment set. I can see this set having great appeal due in part to the various Airborne Jeeps Bronco Models has released. The highlights that caught my eye are the carrier pigeon and its cage, the Piet, and the bike with the option of moulded spoked wheel or the option of photo etched spokes with a die for shaping them. Even if these are not the highlights for you there is a great selection of weapons and equipment with which to load up your diorama or figures.

The Airborne kit looks to be an excellent set, really well thought out, The canvas trolly, open panniers and the pigeon plus the optional bike wheels all caught my eye. A really good range of equipment that will be most useful. The drive sprockets for the tracks show more creative thinking. Al

The folding parabike is the Diopark moulding. There was a special pigeon carrier for paratroops as opposed to glider-borne troops but it is little more that a tin can with a few air holes and a webbing carrying strap. LINK sk

With all this excellent para kit coming along it was a pity MB ditched their Horsa and Airborne transport planes. They could have marketed the Horsa as a full kit and part A front end and Part B rear end. Now all we need is a nice set of 1/35 scale parachutes in Red, White, Blue, Yellow and Green with harnesses for troops and containers. . Now that would really wrap things up. It's happy days for those interested in the Airborne side of life and who'd have thought we see all these kits in plastic. Hats off to Bronco that's for sure. Al
