Tank Workshop is releasing new kits to upgrade and convert the AFV Club M36 Jackson (35058).
First, is TWS 0001 a M36B1 full conversion kit for the AFV Club M36 Jackson. This kit includes a new upper superstructure and exterior details for the M36B1. It also includes a full interior from the firewall forward.

Secondly, TWS 0003 is an interior upgrade kit for AFV Club's M36 Jackson. This kit adds quite a bit of new detail to the already included Jackson interior. Combine this kit with our M36 Exterior upgrade for a very accurate M36 Jackson. Both of the above kits are awaiting the instruction sheets to be completed. We expect to release these kits for sale within two weeks.

Third , TWS 0005 is a set of 90mm ammo tubes.

Fourth, TWS 2007 is a set of inserts for the Trumpeter Karl Morser road wheels.

Hi Bob ...the Tank Workshop already did do a correction set for the M36 last month and these two new sets are something different ...with their original correction kit plus their new interior kit ..we can finally get a pretty nice M36 ...I'm sure I'll pick one up soon... Rick

This looks really nice.Should make for a killer build of a 90mm whacker. I did mine the harder way with Italeri and Verlinden. If TWS was available then for this kit,it would have been an easy choice cheers!

Hey Rick! Thanks for the tip on the earlier TW M36 kits -- guess I should have looked at their website. I'll concede that those hulls are pretty sweet, but the rest of it doesn't excite me too much. I was really looking for some parts to dress up the interior of the turret -- these kits are all hull stuff.

Hi Bob ...you know ,you're right ..they didn't touch the turret ...but I have heard the new AFV turret is much better than the Academy one so maybe it just doesn't need that much ...I don't know really since I haven't got around to buying the kit yet ...I'm still pissed that they couldn't get the hull right .. I'm wrong. Poking around my refs, I find that the M36 used the SCR-610 radio set -- the kit radio is correct.

Two days... Had this been news about a conversion set for a Panzer IV Bridgelayer, there would have been a minimum of 40 replies, half praise and half bemoaning the lack of Allied subjects... :-) I have build the M10 Achilles (many moons ago..) and might just revisit it in the guise of a M36... Cheers Henk

:-) :-) :-) So true. My primary problem with this kit is that there is nothng that screams "M36," but I suppose I can get teh AFV Club 90mm ammo set, then maybe I have something.

I haven't touched the M36 kits mainly because anyone that knows Allied told me they are not accurate. I already have the M18 and M10 as well as the Achilles on my shelf (too many kits and not nearly enough build time). These correction and detail sets make me more interested in the M36 though.

I too, assumed TWS did the interior complete with turret detail.I can't remember the cat# for the Verlinden set I mentioned earlier but it had an awful lot of turret guts as well as hull/engine/ammo details. cheers!
