HardCorps Models was set up to specialize in U.S.M.C. vehicles, figures and reference material. Now the company has announced a series of new releases - all with the same theme: Iwo Jima...
Curiously enough, in certain respects, these new sets and reference material can almost be seen as a 'Movie Tie-In': later on this year, the movie adaptation of the book 'Flags of our Fathers' - which centers around the Battle of Iwo Jima, will be hitting the big screen. One of the consultants on the movie, was David Harper who also owns HardCorps Models There are three categories in the announced releases: 1/35th scale AFV Updates, 1/35th scale Decals and Reference material:

Nice to see HardCorps back again, a little down time but back in a big way. At least my shopping list for Christmas will be a snap. A lot of great info in those books but I would love an easy way to make those hatch and scope cages. Great info. Thanks Jim, Bob

- And those hundreds of nails welded into the turret? I would also like someone to produce a set for that, however the thing that is needed is an M4a3 to REALLY high standards. Now, if someone was to produce an M4a3 in 1/16th scale, it just MIGHT become easier...Dream On!..Jim
