Adam Wilder shares his knowledge through two books titled Adam's Armour. One will be focused on construction while the other one will deal with painting and finishing.

After years showing his models in magazines, and having his own product line, Adam Wilder will publish in November two volumes that cover all the aspects of modelling. According to the index, they will be useful for modellers of all levels.

The first one, about building, goes well beyond the basic skills and include topics such as advice on improving kits, replicating battle damage or working with resin and photoetch (remember he has also edited a DVD about working with PE sets).

The second book goes extensively through all painting and weathering techniques, from base coat to filters, colour modulation, winter washes... There are also specific sections for painting tools, tracks, lights and other items.

As you may expect, both books are profusely illustrated with photos in different sizes, showing materials, step by step processes and final results. The layout is clean and colourful, and seems to be very easy to read.

Considering the extensive background of the author as a modeller and the quality of his works, I am sure these two books will be most useful and a welcome addition to any library.
