It’s November 22nd and it’s cold and or wet, so what are you going to do for the day. Well if you are anywhere near Middle Wallop there will be a model show to keep you occupied and in most cases out from under the wife’s feet.
Aircraft Enthusiast Fair at the Museum of Army Flying
Returning for an 8th year is the Aircraft Enthusiast Fair and Model Show being held at the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop on Sunday 24th November. The fair has over 60 stalls, featuring a range of different traders and local model clubs who will be displaying a variety of complete models spread out amongst the museum's exhibits.

This popular show has grown steadily and has now firmly established itself on the aircraft enthusiasts and modellers calendar. Known as a friendly show, it is a good opportunity to visit the museum at a reduced admission price of £7.50. This is the final such show of the year and a good opportunity for modellers and aircraft enthusiasts to stock up for those long winter nights or buy Christmas presents.
The event will open at 10am and close at 4pm.

It is on here Mike as Army Flying tends to cross borders, but I have sent details to Aeroscale as well for publication. I will add this this is local to me and I will be there.

My diary gives 24/11 as a Tuesday - should it not be Sunday 22nd?

Um... It's 24th NOVEMBER in UK speak. It's the ahem 'go to' museum for Airborne Glider ops, with many Horsas, a Waco Hadrian, a Hamilcar & several other WW2 Gliders, and it's got dozens of Choppers, a brill museum, well laid out, the cafe overlooks the airfield & you can watch the flying, if any... If I can coincide a visit to my pops' I'll look in!

Whether it is 24th November or November 24th is surely immaterial if that day is a Tuesday and not a Sunday anyway? I know the museum is good, having been there a few times and they even let me climb on and measure the ZSU-23-4 outside. Fortunately the calendar on the museum's own website confirms that the event is on Sunday 22nd - LINK
