I ordered TankArt 1, 3rd Edition a week or so ago directly from the Rinaldi site and received it a few days ago. Quick shipping and nice packaging! Just started the first couple of sections and I must say I am looking forward to this read. I am jumping back into the hobby after many many years away and have been looking for a more modern approach on techniques, ideas, as well as the "why" on what we do. To date I had been rather disappointed in previous books I have read, with none of them giving me the excitement, creative thought or in many cases not clear on techniques that the old Shep Paine stuff; and even the old Verlinden publications did for me in the 80s. Well this book changed all that. No I do not work for Rinaldi or know the author but I feel when something really stands out from the competition then it should be recognized and shared. I wish I had read more reviews on the other books before spending the $$ on them. I am looking forward to his other publications now. I picked up the one on the bull dozer build too but haven't started that one yet.
