SV Model presents their new wooden kits at 1/35 for dioramas, three extremely detailed models that include also photo etched and transparent parts. The upcoming Village Council will be an impressive model by itself.
All SV Model kits are collected from 8-millimeter logs that have milled longitudinal and laser transverse grooves.
Apart from laser cutting of veneer and wooden rods of different sections, some models include photo etch and transparent plastic window.
In 1/35 scale they have released three models for dioramas:
3501 - Draw-well in village, 85 parts, 7.5 * 7.5 * 9.0 cm.
3502 - Barn, 296 parts, 14 * 18 * 13 cm.
3503 - Village peasant's house, 633 items, 21 * 24 * 17 cm.
And announced for December, a huge 1/35 Village Council measuring 45 * 32 * 22 cm and made of 2340 parts, including a chimney made of gypsum and MDF-base imitation of a concrete foundation. Such structures can often be seen in the 20's - 50's of the last century in large villages and small towns in Russia.
Typically, these buildings were built for the village or district councils of people's deputies, administrative offices and collective farms, etc. and can be presented on a diorama as an improvised headquarters for a Regiment or Division.
