Thunder Model has started shipping to distributors their new kit, an 1/35 US Army Case Loader
During World War II Case produced over 15000 special military tractors in roughly 40 variants. One of the usual setups was a tractor (commonly SI and VAI models) upgraded with the Hough Payloader assembly. Simple and effective combination to handle all smaller loads in army service.
This is the second kit from Thunder Model and contains:
- 124 plastic parts (sprues A, B, C)
- 4 slide moulded silicone tyres
- PE detail sheet, decals with 2 marking options
Judging from the photos, parts look clean and crisp and in a reasonable number (which includes also the interior). Given also the unusual subject, this model is more than interesting.
