According to their website there are two postwar "explorer" versions planned as well. I really like these left-field releases from Thunder - two Case tractors, two Bergehetzers, a German Loco and now a line of Scammels. Wonder what their next release will be?

These are great vehicles and long over-due in kit form, but I too am looking for a "proper" Bergepather. Alas that's just -apparently- not in the cards any time soon...

I understand that many people have been waiting for a decent Bergepanther for a while... I really do, and all the others do, too (I think). So can you please stop swamping each and every post that has nothing to do with the Bergepanther topic with that one remark that you hope for one? It really does get boring to read it time and again in threads that have nothing to do with it... (Sorry for that off topic remark, but I finally needed to say it - And I am very serious with that I understand your wish for one! But please start posting those wishes where they belong...)

My original comment was mild sarcasm, in response to the many silly comments made on the axis news items, new releases and reviews. Any time Dragon or Amusing release some weird Axis subject people make comments like "But we need more Shermans, etc".

Well, maybe sarcasm is what we need here indeed... but I think this will always be the same: People (including myself) always want what they don't have. And when they do, there are still tons of things still to get and keep complaining about not having them... sorry for the again...

Are there even any Brit heavy artillery pieces to go with this beast in 1/35 scale? We can get every type of panzer there is, even some that never existed, and thier supporting arty, but when it comes to the real victors of WWII, there are some sore gaps. I wish Dragon would stop creating "paper" panzers or "vorpanzers" and get on with some good Brit and American towed artillery and towing transports. We can even get bunches of Soviet frontal artillery, but only a few Ok 105s, a dated 155mm (with the wrong wheels and carriage) but not many good old guns for this beast to tow. I'm glad to see some Scammels finally, but where's a Mack NO? Cumon guys-- get something to put behind this bugger! VR, Russ [/quote] On their Facebook site they answered me that there will be a fitting piece of artillery after they have released the Scammel series. So, now it is just a matter of 'wait and see'. If that gun will be as their small field tractors we don't have to worrie, I guess.
