Previously announced, Trumpeter now shares further details and photos of what to expect inside the box.
The BM-27 Uragan (“Hurricane”) multiple launch rocket system is a self-propelled launcher system configured with 16 launching tubes for 220-mm rockets. Developed during the early 1970s, the system can launch a variety of ordnance such as training, HE-FRAG, chemical, incendiary, fuel-air explosive, and cluster rockets with anti-tank or anti-personnel mines. It can fire either single rockets or full salvos, the latter being able to cover an area of more than 4 hectares. The launching vehicle is designated as the 9P140 which is based on the ZiL-135 truck. Entering service with the Soviet Army in 1975, the Uragan saw combat in Afghanistan, Chechnya, and even during the recent military conflict in Ukraine.
