OKB Grigorov has released another kit on the proposed Soviet heavy tank KV-4, this time depicting the design from the collaboration of Tarapatin, Kuzmin, and Tarotko.
About 20 different designs were submitted to the KV-4 project. With the exception of one, all proposals had primary and secondary guns. The collaborative design submitted by P. Tarapatin, K. Kuzmin, and V. Tarotko had the 107mm primary gun mounted in a turret, with a limited angle of rotation of 130°. The secondary 45mm gun was mounted on another turret on top of the structure housing the primary gun.
OKB Grigorov’s Soviet Heavy Tank KV-4, Tarapatin, Kuzmin & Tarotko’s Proposal (V72050) is rendered in 1/72 scale. It contains 119 resin and 17 photo-etched parts.
