Hmmm...front door looks a little oddly proportioned compared to the windows.

I noticed that too, I guess its the way the previous owners made the molds.

Biggles2. It's a government building from a photograph in Germany. The windows were bigger than the doorway. Not all building windows are "proportioned" to the doors. Here's an example of very large windows. LINK, LINK, Some buildings that I have seen in books even have larger doors than windows as well. A large number of German Government buildings of that era had huge windows and small doors that looked out of place, look online and historical books/magazines and you will see what I am referring to. Here's another example of the doors being bigger than the windows. Be that as it is, I hope that the other buildings offered don't have questions concerning proportions. Nice to see another player in the 1/72 field, all the same.

With that level of support, no wonder so many small manufacturers are getting out of the business. It's easy to criticize without knowing why it was done that way or the photo it was taken from.

I would think a picture with a 1/72 scale figure next to the building would clarify perceived doorway scaling issues. As Jose has shown, many buildings, especially government, have had non-standard proportioned windows with respect to doors. Buildings used to be constructed with larger windows not that long ago to let in more daylight into interior rooms. The "daylight" was needed since electric lights were not as bright as they are today. My 2 cents. Probably worth more for the copper itself.

If you read my post carefully you'll see it's an observation rather than an assertion or negative criticism.

majjanelson..........Thanks for the comments, they are right on the money. The question is who's 1/72 scale figure to use for the proportions? If one uses metal one's they are slightly bigger than 1/72 for the most part, if one uses the resin one's same problem since they are sculpted a little bigger to take into account the resin "shrinking" during curing process which depends on the resin used by the figure's manufacturer/producer. Guess that probably leaves the option of the Dragon/DML one's from their 1/72 scale vehicles ;-)
