Blitz Kit has two new models for the French Artillery fans, the 240mm mortar and its transporting carts
The first kit is the mortar itself, a WWI trench mortar developed by Batignolles Company of Paris. The model depicted is the LT ("long de tranchée") which was a long barreled version with improved firing arrangement and breech-loaded charge which fired a 179 lb (81 kg) bomb 2,265 yards (2,071 m),
It can be assembled in firing position. It does include also a cart with several projectiles.
This kit can be complemented with the three transport carts that were used to move it. Therefore, it can be shown dissasembled and transported.
One of the carts was for the base, another for the trunnion and a third one for the barrel.
