The panzergrenadiers are a bit of a strange mix. Without the green collar, I suppose it is feasible the jacket could be an M-1940. It is possible the combo could exist as early uniforms were seen throughout the war. But all four guys together..hmm..unlikely. Of course, consign the gas cape pouches to the bottomless spares box!!

I'll definitely pick up a couple of boxes of the grenadiers and the grenade/mine set. The grenade boxes in DML's 3 in 1 half track sets look nice until you look at the contents which are way underscale. Hopefully these will do the job they don't. Same goes for their grenades. A review I did earlier in the year I compared three DML stick grenades from different sets which were all completely different sizes. Hopefully with this set I can standardise. The magnetic mines in a box is a first so it's worth buying for those alone. I emailed Miniart a while back and suggested releasing a set of MG boxes/ small arms ammo boxes as MG boxes is one thing we're always short of as dio builders. Quite an interested in the idea reply so who knows? Miniart seem to be a company that listens to what modellers want which is great. The US mine detectors look interesting as well. That's the third nationality they've done searching for mines which really opens up loads of dio possibilities. Great stuff!

Way to go in cranking out figures and accessory sets. I do wish the grenadier uniforms and accessories were all consistently matched to either early-mid or late war, but I'm glad that Miniart is at least making them. We modelers, however will need to accurize the uniform and equipment though.

Meanwhile on another front they dropped all the new releases in the historical figures line. And you know those Panzer grenadiers match the uniforms in some recent war movies as opposed to actual historical photos.

Vodka bottles without labels are meaningless.... Georg?
