Nice little batch of new stuff from MIg! The KT Hull is crazy-correct scale thickness on the armor!! The M1114 is interesting, will be interesting to see if they have actually included the complete US Gunners shields and side protection or some simple metal field fabrication, or non standard item-it doesnt look like the common gunners armor protection seen on most M1114's.....?(looks very similar) Im also hoping they have sorted out the awful warping on the roof section, all 3 conversions I bought of the original kit had warped roofs, which took some time to correct.

The Tiger-B hull is really something very un-expected. One could use a few on top of some DML hulls to re-create the picture of several hulls outside the Henschel plant. Very nice item.

I was gob-smacked when I saw this at first as well .... Adam Wilder´s paint job is amazing. But the above dio would be an expensive one ... have you see the price of these ? €76 each according to the report on TL. Track Link page The Russian figures will be a must for me ... perfect for a diorama to be built around. Thanks Pat for the news.

From the image, the shield looks fine to me. The back may not have enough slant, but we'll see, it is hard to tell right now. I did notice that the bolts on the side aren't there, nor are the handrails by the front, but really, I don't see that as much of a big deal. Only a plastic or resin form of this could do that. Jeff

They would be my favourites out of these releases as well Frank.

Maybe a daft question, but I take it existing King Tiger kits then don't show correct scale thickness? Don't get me wrong, I don't expect that they do in areas such as the rear and side hull. But I'm more wondering about the front glacis, where you can see the notched join.

The DML kits, being the latest out on the market, show the welds all in the correct place and thusly, correct armour thickness on the surface. The difference with this MIG hull, is that ALL armour plates and internal bulkheads are scale thickness on the inside as well.

The M1114 set looks interesting, but I don't think I want to shell out the $104 retail that it costs. Scott

Hello all of you and thanks for your thoughts and comments. Some of this month releases introduced new challenges for us here at the company. Overall I feel very excited about these new items. Painting the KT hull on a Monday morning was a joy for me. One of the benefits that comes with working at a model company. Have a great summer and speak to you momentarily. Sincerely ANPW MIG Productions Staff
