Looks like a nice kit generally, but these days we probably expect more deatil in a new release. The solid styrene springs for the seat in particular being very noticible on the kit. Little things like this, no inflation stems for the inner tubes and the lack of something for wiring or the lever on the handle are reminiscent of what the modeller got in a Tamiya '70's BMW/Zundapf kits. Yes, someone with a little skill can fix these, but it would still be nice if the manufacturer went that little bit further and gave themselves the edge over the competition.

I'm more concerned about the lack of cooling fins on the cylinders. That's a bit harder to fix. I don't know how much skill I have, but as a Scout owner I'm getting one.

I think they are faintly scribed in the kit, but there. Is the shape of them right though- you would know better than me. The shape does seem to be similar to Mission Models version LINK which is what I meant by having an edge over the competitor by including the extras. The Thunder one is still a nice looking kit though

Yes I think they did. But unlike Mirror Thunder is going to make one with other options, like a side car. This is per Thunder Models.

I saw the fins on the heads, but I had to magnify to 500% to see the fins on the cylinders. It'll take some very good dry-brushing skills to brings those out. It's too small to scratch the cylinders (I did a water pump once by stacking alternately sized pieces of .010) but I might toy with wrapping them with fine copper motor wire. The ends can be hidden if they're on the intake side of each cylinder. I think that'll provide a lot more detail. Too bad they're not cylindrical. I'd just use fine thread screws...
