I must admit I've not compared any scale drawings - mainly as I haven't any - but looking at the Walkaround of the basic BV (provided by Hans-Hermann on this site) it looks like the running gear is the same, or even if the bogies are different the track looks pretty close. My point is, that if the Djiti accessory is reasonably priced then one would not have to purchase the Takom BV 306S as a donor kit for the Firing Line version (which is hideously priced but the only game in town if one wants the standard BV 206).

BV-206: The boxy thing with a GRP body BV-308: The label used by the Swedish Defence forces to refer to the vehicle that Hägglunds sell under the name BV-206S. This is the one in Takoms kit except that the kit has different wheels. Same running gear as BV-206 so the resin set "should" fit the kit from Firing Line (are those still available??). BV-206 BV-308, sometimes nicknamed Skalman (a cartoon tortoise from the cartoons about Bamse, Skalman is an inventor and his shell is full of gadgets, the rabbit is Lille Skutt (Little Bounce) and he is always afraid). This are very great news, got my bv206 tracks yesterday , they look very nice and i tried them on my firing line bv 206 and it looks like they fit very good on them, so finally i can finish my bv 206.. Thanks Djiti for making them.. Recomend them alot

Good luck reversing that thing... [/quote] The BV-206 (with or without the S) behaves almost like a car. The rear end moves to the right or left when the steering wheel is turned just like a normal car. The BIG difference is that the BV-206 can "wag its tail" even when not moving forward so I can move the trailer hitch sideways without moving the vehicle forwards or backwards. The joint between the front and rear is controlled by hydraulics so the rear end is not free to move in the same way as a trailer behind a car. The snaking motion is useful when trying to get up a slippery slope, I tried it on icy rocks once. Twisting while standing still on hard surfaces with high friction should probably be avoided to reduce the wear of the rubber tracks. / Robin

That would appear to clinch it - thanks to Leopard 122; so, Step 1 - shell out a small fortune for the Firing Line kit (which is still shown on their website) Step 2 - obtain Djiti kit - complete to taste. Me too The BV-206 actually gives you a little better control over the trailer compared to a car when pushing it backwards. Visibility is a bit trickier but there is usually a soldier outside giving directions when reversing (with or without trailer). / Robin

I buried the FL kit Deeep in my stash... even if Djiti`s effort is not entirely correct for basic BV206, it´s waaay more easier than the kit `s PE crap...
