Seeing the previous volumes on Nuts & Bolts series, it was only a question of time to fill in the missing types of the Zugkraftwagen series.
Therefore, the next number, N&B 41 will deal with all armored and unarmoured variants of the sWS (schwerer Wehrmachtsschlepper).
Therefore, the next number, N&B 41 will deal with all armored and unarmoured variants of the sWS (schwerer Wehrmachtsschlepper).
Dr. Hettler has found a lot of new material of this very interesting vehicle in different archives. Still existing vehicles of this type are very rare and the editors have managed to be allowed to take photos and measurements of three sWS from a private collecttion.
The book is currently on pre-order and will feature 180 pages of A4 size with approximately 268 photos, of these 91 contemporary photos from manuals, combat and war fronts in b/w (most of them previously unpublished); 119 colour photos of restored vehicles and their components in public and private collections, 58 colour photos of the four models from T.Greenland and V.Branigan. 35 pages of scale drawings of all versions and details in 1:35 scale from Lieven De Coninck, 18 camouflage schemes from Laurent Lecoq with tactical and units signs and 3 tables of organization of units (Kriegstärke-Nachweisungen KStN) having these vehicles in their arsenal.
As usual, the book is bilingual with all text in English and German.
