If I remember correctly they did release a kit of this subject under their Cyberhobby White Box collectors series, so for those storing them up to make a killing on Ebay it's bad news, but for those who want to replicate Otto's tank but didn't get it first time round, its good news. I worked hard to make the Cyber Hobby Otto Carius Tiger accurate. In this case I only advised Ron Volstad on the artwork. The new Carius Tiger looks identical to the old one. David

Thought that this was suspiciously familiar; good news is that anyone with a mid and a decal sheet can probably kick this one out of the park as there can't be that much unique about Otto's ride that some simple research wouldn't correct.

The gun mantle is the tricky part to find if you want to make your own. There was only one other kit with that mantlet I believe. The front hub without a road wheel is also tricky to find. If you want to make his tiger with the specific Zim damage, it might be easier to damage aftermarket zim then add it to a nonzimmed mid-Tiger. You would also need to get track from an early tiger. Then you need a set of decals. However the photo of the tank I saw had no turret number so that might not be an issue. All in all it would be cheaper to buy the new dragon kit than to piece together the kit.

The hub for the front outer road wheel that you mentioned is a frequent optional on several of Dragon's Tiger releases so that one's easy; as to the mantlet -outside of the Zimmerit treatment on certain ones Dragon again came through in spades by offering numerous variants with almost every kit -their blued-out sprue sheets are pretty extensive and are one of the perks unintentionally offered with virtually ALL of their kits. So, if you have pretty well any Dragon Tiger I you could well have everything you need (outside the decals) for this variant and that's what third-party sources are all about. Doing you own Zimmerit solves the battle damage, so there's no reason to not buy ANY Dragon (etc) mid Tiger I and add these paltry parts and you've got a "Limited Edition Variant) (as if).
