I already have Dragon's Early version, and something else Tamiya wouldn't ever kit up: the ammunition tender.

Once my current job situation is fixed I'll almost certainly get at least one. Living in Japan, Tamiya is half the price of Dragon for me; and I know the instructions and fit will be 99.99% on the ball. I'm still looking at that unfinished first Dragon boxing (6004) and cursing under my breath at it!

Oh no not more German armor.

I have been back to modeling for 20 years now and I have yet to build anyones Hummel,so why wouldn't I be interested in a new tooled Tamiya kit,I would compare it to an older Dragon kit and then decide.There are also new modelers coming aboard every day who have no stash or who never built one who might be interested.So the more releases the better.

Very cool. Somehow, I’ve never built a Nashorn or Hummel, (I know, that’s absurd for a German armor builder). Having built the Tamiya Marder III, I expect this beauty will barely require glue and fit together perfectly. Tamiya kits can be such a joy to build after living through test fitting, putty, sanding and aftermarket Hell. I’m excited about this.

Remember folks, "PANZER KARL" said it first! I only left an emoji... Let me share a little secret with you guys- I'm not buying this or any "Hummel" out there. I just never liked the looks of the Hummel or the Nashorn...

This is so mine. I can never get enough WW2 German Artillery. I have passed on all of the Dragon Hummels. The early kit turned me off.

If you're referring to the first Dragon Hummel, well, that was one of their first kits and had huge errors to the informed; on the other hand it was originally released up here for just shy of twenty bucks! The rest that followed were incomparably better and, in one case, came with a bonus horse and rider delivering orders (?). Complex, well-detailed kits with crappy instruction sheets, as usual for dragon.

I built that first Nashorn kit, but my Hummel was a later release so it had the reworked lower half and wasn't such a PITA to assemble.
