There were as many configurations of M3 M3 Mediums in New Guinea as there were M3 Mediums in New Guinea. All kinds of mix and match. Find a photo and do that tank. There were even ones with T48 track and heavy duty suspension units as well as one with a mixture due to a field repair. Miniart is promising an Australian Lee that looks to have some of the storage and the Grant cupola on it. Ever since I scratch built a "late" Lee in 1/72 I've wanted to do one in 1/35. Have so much in the stash, what could I move out to make room for this?

Anytime I see a new model come out which I think is going to be relatively popular, I automatically start thinking "after-market"... Re: "Alexander Nevsky"... Yes, I noticed that right away, but I didn't comment on it because maybe MINIART assumed that everyone in the whole world knows who Alexander Nevsky was..? I don't know what the story is with MINIART's "non-mention" of the fact regarding Alexander Nevsky, which you brought up. KUDOS rightfully go to you... What's really surprising is that Eisenstein made the "ALEXANDER NEVSKY" movie of the huge Russian Victory over the Teutonic Knights as a propaganda piece in order to bolster Soviet Russians' morale when they needed it most. It proved to be an inspirational and popular movie in Soviet Russia at the time, so I can't really fathom why MINIART didn't identify that first M3's "Alexander Nevsky decal-markings option" at all...

Hi, Steve! Ohhh, I'll bet that you could make the room- Just think- The 1/35 M3 (Late) would be easier on your eyes for you to work on than the "braile-scale" stuff simply because of its size... I'm NOT trying to be a "wise guy"- My own "peepers" aren't what they used to be, either. My regular ophthalmologist just did laser-treatments in both eyes back in April of this year, and I had lens-replacement in both eyes back in 2002; cataracts... Being diabetic, (among other things), I have diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, and residual stage of open-angle bilateral glaucoma. One drop of Ketorolac in each eye, 3 times a day. Niiice.. Ooops, time for me to take my Gabapentin capsule and two Acetaminophen tablets for my diabetic neuropathy- Those are three times daily. I've got another fourteen medications lined up in my medicine tray- Don't get me going on them! I go back to the retinologist in September to see if I need any more surgery, and I just had another angioplasty in my left leg back on the 10th of June... In the meantime, I just sing "fiddle-dee-dee"...

Dennis, I have had four eye surgeries in two years. Two cataracts and then two emergency surgery for detached retinas. The detachment in one eye was worse than Inwas told at the time and even the best efforts of the surgeon left me with seriously distorted vision. So braille isn't an option anymore. Not that it would be cheaper or anything with the cost of kits. And that's also why I stay away from photoetch and the more fiddly kits. I quite literally can't see the difference with my vision the way it is optivisors or no. Sorry. I'll sell off something to make room for it.

Hi, Steve! That's really too bad... Again, not to be a "wise guy", but have you considered getting a different surgeon? If you were mis-diagnosed, isn't your surgeon liable..? Just asking... I consider myself to be very lucky; I had my bypass in the left leg last year. My heart attack, which could very well have been fatal if it hadn't happened while I was on the operating table for the bypass in the leg, was a VERY close-run thing. Last August, I had my open-heart triple-bypass surgery, plus the almost having to go on kidney dialysis left me sucking wind. I wound up in the hospital for a few weeks several times, and finally I had to have a "Center-Line" in the right side of my neck, I caught a MRSA infection, and I had a PIC Line in my right arm for a month. I had also swelled-up with edema and had gained 40 lbs, which I subsequently lost after treatment and diet. I'm still not very healthy, but I feel a LOT better than I did, and I'm slowly but surely "coming back". So, building models has had to "take a back seat" to my "other priorities". 2018 was NOT a good year. That was something that I do NOT want to repeat, but there are no guarantees in "life", are there..?

I went to the best eye specialists on the East Coast for my second opinion. They did the best that could be done surgically. Retina reattachments are like that. I'm lucky not to be blind in the one eye. Recovery from eye surgery is one of the worst recoveries remaining in medicine. You lay, head on pillow not moving for up to six weeks. YouTube is your best friend. And didn't watch a single documentary about 20th century history. Ahhh.

I'm not really crazy about the Russians occupying one third of my late Father's Home. Despite what Russian propaganda says, Ukraine is not Russian; it is Ukrainian, period. That's all I'm going to say, because this site is supposed to be "apolitical"...
