I wonder if they are good for Telic as they are not wearing body armor.

You could actually use them for vehicles further back. I was issued a DPM version in the mid 90's and used them on a Bosnia tour in '98. They are also available in desert tan, the smaller goggles however AFAIK were issued after Telic 2 as part of the deployment pack issued to each soldier.

The goggles are molded as separate pieces, so you could leave them off or swap them out with earlier versions.

Always useful, though exactly which vehicle/time period seems to be tricky. More research, I guess...

They were issued to all Royal Armoured Corps tank crewmen. I was CVR'T at that time but The Queens Royal Lancers wore them also and they were Challenger 1.The set picture depicts Royal Tank Regiment (RTR) soldiers but could be used for any unit really. One thing to note is that they all seem to be using a Commanders Pressel Unit (CPU) which would be incorrect. As the name suggests only the commander would use one as it gives him the ability to switch from speaking on his working or monitor radio. The rest of the crew would use a standard pressel unit. Just google clansman pressel.

Again an easy fix as the pressel units are molded separately. So from what I gather, these could represent any British/Commonwealth armored vehicle crewmen from about the mid-80s to present, depending on what accessories you use and how you paint them. Is that correct?

If everything is molded separately then there shouldn't be any issues, just for info really as it would be all too easy to use them if you didn't know. I was issued this pattern coverall or as close as in the mid 90's, so they couldn't be used prior to around 1995. Also AFAIK they are a British issue item only with no commonwealth forces using them, though I'm happy to be corrected. One other thing to note is that the Headsets are active noise reduction variants which were brought into service mid '90's.

Sounds good. So they are usable for any British AFV crewman from the mid-90s to present, post Op Granby ('90 - '91 Gulf War, ODS).

Yup, they were part of the combat system '95 clothing range so from then onwards basically. Only Royal Armoured Corps though, never saw infantry with them but there is bound to be pictures out there to prove me wrong. Also the headsets are wrong for infantry, they use a type of ANR headgear designed to be put on and off without the need to remove your helmet. I think the US uses something similiar.
