The U.S. AM company, Tiger Model Designs, tends to announce series' of 'connected' releases concentrating on one or two vehicles at a time or continuing a previous line. These new releases follow this trend.

The last report we ran, covered major updates for the U.S. M5. The fiirst of these New releases continues this line in the form of:

24409 - Early M5 Hull Roof w/o Exhaust Fan Housing: $6.50 (AFV Club)

This is a simple replacement for the AFV hull roof. It represents the early roof design of the M5 w/o the exhaust fan housing. This item is intended to work with other TMD items:

• 24410 M5 Prototype Backdate (AFV)
• 24411 M5 Early Backdate
• 25203 M6 Hull Periscopes and Holders

This month also sees the beginning of a series of releases for the T34:

35207 - T-34 8-Bolt Armored Exhausts Housing $3.50 (ALL)

These 8-Bolt Armored Exhaust Housings are designed to directly replace any T-34 kit piece. This detail set represents the 8-bolt armored exhaust housings used by the STZ and 112 factories. This item is intended to work with these TMD items:

• 35201 T-34 Replacement Exhaust (ALL)
• 35202 T-34 Welded Replacement Exhaust (ALL)
• 35203 T-34 Flanged Replacement Exhaust (ALL)

35208 - T-34 45 mm Armored Exhausts Housing $4.50 (ALL)

This 45 mm Armored Exhaust Housings are designed to directly replace any T-34 kit piece. This detail set represents the heavier, 40 mm thick armored exhaust housings used by factory 183. This item is intended to work with TMD items:

• 35201 T-34 Replacement Exhaust (ALL)
• 35202 T-34 Welded Replacement Exhaust (ALL)
• 35203 T-34 Flanged Replacement Exhaust (ALL)

Finally, a useful and simple replacement item for the M4a2:

25405 - M4A2 Corrected Engine Deck Grill Doors $6.50 (DML)

This is a simple replacement for the engine deck grill doors in DML kits 6062, 6188 and 6313. This detail set includes:
• Corrected grill pattern on the upper surface of the grill doors
• The three little “nubs” on each door (seen on so many M4A2’s – especially in British service)
• 8 replacement armored fuel filler caps
• 8 inches of 0.020 in lead solder to make door handles and fuel filler cap lock pins
