MiniArt Ltd. have just announced an extraordinally welcome release - the Soviet BA-64 Armored Car.
35097: BA-64B SOVIET ARMOURED CAR w/CREW

Consisting of 118 parts along with 5 Crew figures, this is an interesting release on several levels. The model is the (recently) released BA-64 from Vision Models which is an absolutely stunning kit which suffered from a lack of distribution and exposure. We featured it within the News Section several months ago here. Now, with the model available from MiniArt (along with their excellent figures) it should get better distribution and a much higher deserved -profile amongst modelers.

An interesting and highly-useful release.

Our thanks to MiniArt Ltd for the Update!

Sorry Jim, my bad. I was pointing on that BA-64 of Vision model but my reply was badly written.

Huh. That's a strange development. Luckymodel has the Vision release in stock. I was hoping to pick it up from a show vendor instead of ordering it. If I get it in a Miniart box that's just as good. I've been waiting for this release for a long time while eying my ancient AER Moldova BA-64 kit. I'm glad I waited.

The mould may as same as Vision Model, Tooling by BRONCO

What exactly does that mean?

What exactly does that mean?[/quote] What it means, is that if you look at Bronco's website, part of their business is that they do tooling for anyone looking for Injection-moulding... Basically, if you win the lottery and decide you want to produce your own 'Label' then you could contact them...

There seems to be alot more co-operation between model kit manufacturers going on now. I have also noticed that the BRONCO Panzerkampfwagen Mk IV 744(E) A13, kit no. CB35030, has the Lion Roar/Great Wall Hobbies jerry can set included and the BRONCO Triumph 3HW Motorcycle set , kit no. CB35035, appears to have the 3 crew made by Miniart (similar style and sprue numbering).

I have built the vision models BA-64b. It is a nice kit. The fit is good, except for the wheels. The holes are to big for the axles. The only thing i missed was an (partial) engine and firewall. There is just an empty space under the bonnett. The kit doesn't have many parts, but i liked building it.
