Hot on the heels of their Western Desert Tank Riders, MiniArt Ltd. have just published the Box-Art of their NW Europe set.
35118 - BRITISH TANK RIDERS (NW EUROPE)
No word on release date yet, but the set will contain 57 parts for 5 figures. Although designed on top of a tank, it won't take a huge leap in imagination to use them in other settings, or with a minimum of modification, to be used with Universal Carriers. Although specifically designed as riders, this looks as if it could be a VERY versatile set indeed.
One site has already posted a series of comments on 'Comedy Moustaches' which is a little unfair (only one figure is shown with a moustache). A little digging into the archives would show that in the 1930s & 40s, moustaches were a pretty common facial addition. For those who so desire, the careful application of a Nº11 blade should leave the figure unadorned...
