The team at Mig Productions send us news of their range of new releases for the month. The range includes a Pacific Sherman conversion, a new language version of their DVD, a Navy Seal figure, and various painting supplies.
Pacific Sherman Field Armor Upgrade MP 35-373
The American M4 Sherman tank is without a doubt one of the most important tanks of the Second World War. Many of these reliable AFVs were distributed throughout the various allied countries in every theater of the Second World War including the British, Soviet, Chinese and French. The M4 Sherman tanks used in the Pacific theater of operations have always been among the most popular due to some of the odd field modifications applied to them by the Americans. The Mig Pacific Sherman Field Armor Upgrade accurately represents one of these unique field modifications.
The kit includes detailed resin pieces depicting parts that were cut from another knocked out Sherman. Resin M-5 T36E6 late type tracks used to up-arm the turret are also enclosed. Mig's kit also comes with a photo-etched fret containing additional details such as the rear upper hull stand-off armor. This photo-etch set also contains a stencil that reads, “The 392nd Avenger” allowing the modeler to quickly and accurately airbrush this unique slogan onto each side of the model.
This original conversion is important for all M4 Enthusiasts. Mig recommend one of the following M4 T49 track to be to be used with this conversion:
ModelKasten SK-72 AFV Club AF35027 Panda Plastics T-49 Steel Three Bar Cleat Tread
Advancing U.S. Navy SEAL Vol. 2. 1/35th Scale MP 35-331
This U.S. Navy SEAL represents a special operations figure seen in either Iraq or Afghanistan during the years 2003 to 2005. This fine resin casting is equipped with nighttime operation gear such as night vision goggles mounted to his IBH helmet. This Navy Seal is also carrying the popular M4 assault rifle and sidearm. Mig's figure will be a nice addition to most modern vignettes and dioramas of Iraq or Afghanistan.
