We're Coming Close to a 1/35th Scale Motorshow - MiniArt's Latest

Only a short time ago, there was a dearth of good, modern, German softskin kits.In the case of the civilian vehicles impressed into military service such as the Admirals or Opels, virtually nothing. Now, it seems that not a week goes by with the announcement of another of these saloons - here's the latest, again, in 1/35th scale, from MiniArt

MiniArt have just announced that they are beginning development of:

35095: MB TYPE 170V Personenwagen

At the moment the no details have been released but the company HAS released the the CAD Images of the model which can be seen at the side.

More Civilian softskins excellent. A few British Staff Cars woud be good. too D . Al

Tamiya's makes a 1/48 US Staff Car (32559). Although it isn't specifically identified, I believe it is a Ford Model 1942 Sedan.

Miniart seems to be the company to watch nowadays. They make incredible choices in subjects. If they could get their detail up just a little bit, they'd give DML a run for their money.

I really like this one.. it kinda reminds me when I was a kid and we used to come to Egypt during the summer vacation.. I used to see a lot of similar looking cars which people had turned into taxi cabs. I guess they never realized that some people pay top dollar for these classics Hisham

I think their detail level is already up there. Have you seen their Valentine or Dingo series? They're way past Tamiya, and better than Trumpeter and AFV. The only way they could compete with DML is by releasing a new kit per month

Looks like it would be a nice vehicle to build, love the soft skins, but there Dingo left me asking the question why many times and the directions were not very helpful
