Verlinden productions has come in for a lot of flack of late due to what looks like mix and match figures for the most part, that however has not put them off continuing to expand their range. While not the power house they once were there are still items in their catalogue that are worthy of attention and some new and upcoming releases that are worth a look and your consideration. The items covered in this news release cover World War 1 right through to the present with some unique products in the mix.

All of the products listed here have either hit the shelves or will be soon. They are all 1/35th scale unless otherwise stated, and as there are a fair number to cover we have grouped like products together with a release date if not currently available.

Starting with the figure releases we have;
Iraq – Afghanistan Firepower - Item 2658 - $16.95
This is a two-figure set comprised of a pair of modern U.S. ground troops deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan. Both wear the standard battle dress all the way down to the knee pads. The guy on his knee is armed with a standard M16 and his buddy is armed with the M249 SAW.

This is a pair of US GI's reconnoitring the battlefield. One is crouched on his left hip holding his BAR at the ready, while the other squats with his M1 Garand propped on his knee and pointing off to the left.

This is a two figure set of a USN SEAL team engaging the enemy, one standing locked & loaded as the other crouches and signals his compatriots. Both are dressed in over all black fatigues and kit for stealthy night missions, and are armed with M4 Carbines.

This is a two-figure resin set of US GI's fighting in Europe during World War II. Both are dressed in standard US fatigues and jackets. One has a bandaged head, while the other has his helmet for protection. One is armed with a BAR and the other is armed with a Thompson MG.

This is a resin kit to make a French garage/road stop from the World War II era. The finished model measures 12" wide x 5" high (350mm x 130mm).

Siegfried Line Roadblock (Gate) - Item 2653 - $29.95
This is a plaster kit of a concrete gate from the infamous German 'Siegrfried Line'. The concrete gate sections measure approximately 3" x 6" (80mm x 160mm). Evergreen Sacel Models plastic 'I' beams are included, the base and 'Dragon's Teeth' are not included.

The Seigfried Line Modular Dragon Teeth Line - Item 2652 - $31.95
This is a plaster kit of the infamous 'Siegrfried Line' 'Dragon's Teeth'. Each kit comes with two modules that are designed to fit together or to fit to VP#2653). The 'Dragon's Teeth' are slightly staggered, exactly like examples of the originals. Each module measures approximately 11 1/2" x 4 3/4" (290mm x 120mm).

This is a resin & plaster kit of a World War II German bunker with a Panzer 1 turret mounted. The bunker is cast in plaster in 2 pieces, and measures 2" (8cm) high x 6" (15 cm) wide at its widest point. The Panzer 1 turret and 2 MG barrels are cast in resin.
