Having just reviewed the excellent food supplies set from Reality in scale, their latest release gives you something to cook it all with! a set of improvised oil drum stoves.
Review
The set contains five different stoves, a sheet of wire mesh, some rocks to mount the stoves on and a rather fetching tea pot. All the parts are very well cast with the drums looking suitably dented and well used. The coals moulded into the open drums are very nicely represented and the inclusion of some wire mesh to make either a grill or grate is a useful addition. In conclusion, Reality in scale have produced another unusual and detailed set of diorama accessories that could have a multitude of uses when producing a battlefield or workshop scene.
SUMMARY
Highs: Well moulded parts. Some welcome additional items such as the steel mesh and teapot.Lows: Maybe a bag of coal wouldn't have gone amiss.Verdict: Another interesting set of accessories from Reality in scale everything needed for a 1/35th barbecue!
