Introduction
Oil & Gas Station decals is an accessory set of decals from Matho Models, article code 35099.

The Set
Printed on a sheet a little bigger than my hand, Matho Models provides us decals for four North American petroleum companies:
    Esso
    Gulf
    Shell
    Texaco

Those design styles appear to span the mid-twentieth century. I count 10 different designs of logos for the four companies. Additionally, dozens of other signs support the company you chose, for example:
    Regular
    Super
    Gas
    Petrol
    Air
    Station Service
    Motor Oil
Most of those are reproduced in multiple colors so you won't be limited to the background you create.

While Matho Models caters to the 1/35 market, these are sized for many scales.

Quality
Matho Models writes, Hi-definition printing gives a crisp result, even in the smallest details. I can attest to that. The printing is amazing, the ink is opaque.

The carrier film is thin and I don't see any excess carrier film beyond the printed area. Each decal is an individual marking so you do not need to cut around each piece.

Use
Simple and satisfying. I cut out a decal without worrying about trimming off excess film. About five seconds in water and the decal easily slid off the paper.

Adherence is excellent. The decal dried quickly and accepted a brushing of matte clear coating after 10 minutes.

Conclusion
Matho Models' decals are excellent. They are crisply printed with precise registration. They part from the paper easily and adherence is great. The choice of gasoline logos and supporting signage allows great versatility. They can be used for scales other than 1/35.

I have no complaints about this product and happily recommend it to anyone who needs logos for mid-20th century North American petroleum companies.

I'm a professional pilot with a degree in art. My first model was an AMT semi dump truck. Then Monogram's Lunar Lander right after the lunar landing. Next, Revell's 1/32 Bf-109G...cried havoc and released the dogs of modeling! My interests--if built before 1900, or after 1955, then I proba...
