I started building models at an early age when I discovered Airfix military kits. After building the entire range at least a couple of times as well as conversions from the Airfix Magazine I switched to Aurora and then to Monogram. That is when Mr Tamiya entered the scene and I was hooked. I stopped building in my late teens - girls - cars and later on family - you know the story. I did keep on buying both kits and magazines but at a somewhat casual pace so I have kept up with new releases and unfortunately new prices. I am still hooked but I am building again, the eyes aren't as good, the hands aren't as steady and the skills are rusty but I am building.
