Dominique (Vanderboer) shows how to get that cold feeling with this T-28 scene. Vanderboer: T-28 If you have comments or questions please post them here. Thanks!

One thing that always impresses me about your work Dominique, is that you always go the whole nine yards. The final display is excellent. Lovely base, nice height used and the scene is consistent and finished to a very high standard. Snow always gets the "WOW" factor and its especially deserved here as its so well done. Very realistic ...especially on the bushes. The weathering of the T28 has added so much as it looks heavy, wet and cold. The bird house (or shrine ?) fills out the scene perfectly. The only nit-pick is that the nameplate seams to be lifting/peeling a little at the bottom. Nice one.

Beautiful work, Dominique! My thoughts and feelings echo Mr. Glackin's, but I am curious, mate. . .what is the story line behind this vignette? Cheers! ~Gunny

Hi Dominique, Beautiful work and a pleasure to see it. Frank got it spot on, the balacne in the dio is great and you've turned what is often seen as a dull and uninteresting model into something really special. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Al

Its been a while since I´ve been called mister :-) :-) :-) Does there always need to be a story line behind a vignette? It could be as simple as a commander using his tank to see ahead or checking the bridge stability. From an artistic point of view, there are lots of things appealing, and IMO the story takes second place here. I love the fact that the whole scene is series of natural whites and off-whites, and built up in a pyramid fashion with the commander at the peak. The sense of "display" is excellent.

Wow, stunning work! The dio layout is unique and wonderfully executed! I am not a big fan of heavily weathered AFV's unless they are Russian as they sure did beat beat the tar out of them Super duper nice!

Great work. I get chilly just looking at it. Who manufactured the tank officer?
