Nicely done Ed! Weathering was just right and the stowage gear just gives it a nice touch.
Perhaps ive been in Modern Armour for awhile and over the last couple of weeks, i find myself drawn to WWII allied vehicles. I might just pick this one up for my next project.

A vey nice clean build there Ed, could have gone a bit heavier on the stowage, I've seen pics of thses things almost dissappearing under all the gear!
Julien, its the old Tamiya kit of the M3A2, Dragons isnt released yet.

Thanks Mark for the info.
It proves one could make a really nice finished model with an old kit !
Best,

Nice work. I like the subtle weathering. I think I may have to move my Dragon M2 up in the queue of kits to build!

Ed sweet build. How about some more photos please? I really would like to see how this one looks all the way around. Nice work.

I like this model a lot. Looks the part. The basic kit may have its flaws, but the finishing, stowage and decals make up for that!
Is the stowage home-made or an AM product? I too like the mild weathering, although the barrel at the front, could do with some wear. The decals have me totally puzzled. Are they decals or masked and sprayed? They look great, especially on the front grill, but how did you manage to get them looking as if they´re under the "ladder" on the sides?

Really nice model! Subtle weathering and the stowage blends good with the vehicle. Looks very aggressive with all those MGs britsling from the half track.
Thanks for sharing

hi everyone...thanks for all the nice words and comments. i trimmed the ladders using a dentist instrument..a scriber of sort.. to sharpen the edges around the ladder. the decals were all orignal tamiya..i cutted the stars located on the the side ladders. same also with the front grille. top bedroll is scratchbuilt. stowage and accessories from tamiya and MGs from academy. thanks everyone.
