I have to agree with Dave, I have looked over these pics many times and never tire of seeing them, it's an extremely well done tank.
Thanks for sharing it with us. :-)

There are so many people I would like to thank
Dave Tong for sending the pics since I am technologically illiterate,
Jim for putting the pics "On Display",
Myself for shelling out the cash to make the Panther....
and all of the kind people who have commented
Thank,
Andrew

Very good job !
Two questions:
1) What scale is it?
2) How did you do the zimmeritt

You guys always amaze me. Maybe ten years from now I'll be able to build something half that nice. Truly amazing workmanship

Hi Andrew!
Very nice job.
I recall some posts you made while the kit was in progress.
Can you tell us what kit you used?
What you added?
And what reference sources did you use in the end?
Cheers, and again, very nice work!
Andy

Okay, I will try to answer the question fielded...
The scale is 1/35.
The kit is the Tamiya Panther G Early.
The zimmerit is Cavalier Zimmerit and is excellent.
Additions were the Cavalier zimmerit, full Aber update (whole sheet of course ),
Moskit exhausts, Aber side skirts, Jordi Rubio barrel, Fruilmodelisimo Tracks, Tank Workshop partial interior and a few scratchbuilt details.
I used a great book with a Panther A interior for reference.
The "Panther In Action" book from Squadron was used and the most valuable resource was "Panther" from Concord Publishing.
Hope that covers it,
Thanks for the much too generous comments...
Andrew
