Journeys End - USMC Baghdad 2003

  • move
The diorama has been built using the recent release of the Hobby boss AAVP7-A1, this had some additional aerials added to bring it up to date to a version in use during 2003. The figures came from various sources including Think-180, MIG Productions, warriors and Blast models and nearly all required some re-sculpting to get the required look. The cloth flag is by ModelFlags.com and the storage by Real Models. The Saddam Hussain statue is an old Verlinden item.

I had an accident during transit just before it was being photographed when Saddam came back (well fell off the plinth) and I couldn't find all the muzzles after I had refixed all the figures back in place. The reports are figures from Royal Model HTH
