Thank you so much for your compliments, i'm happy that you liked my work This halftruck has a little story... I found it in the basement some time ago. It was half (bad!) painted and of course really damaged without many pieces (back hatch, silencer, front gun shield...); but i always loved this kit so i decided to "restore" it and i'm very satisfied with the result. The soldiers are recycled and modified too, they come from an old tamiya kit of a 20mm flak crew. About the terrain, it is made with a recycled material too the base is a sound-proofing foam covered with moulded "DAS pronto" paste fixed with vynilic glue. It was painted with airbrush first in black and then with different shades of brown. The shrubs come from my garden and were placed while the DAS paste was still not solid and painted too with Liquitex acrilic paints. Cool thing you did with the rear access doors. Mine's still in the works. Now that i've seen yours, i think i will do some modifications on the doors myself (i.e., removing the doors' inner linings to make them scale thick. Plus, i like what you did with the inner door details. Aside from adding the door hatch/lock, the steel bars for the door hinges are correct based on actual photos. I hope I can replicate the stunning work you made on this old model. Cheers! Dennis

Thank you I suggest you to buy the Squadron/Signal armor series No.21 Sdkfz 251 in action. There you can find all the images you need to create the rear access doors with details. Really useful!
