The End of Days

I used the original figure and remove the head and replaced it with a Verlinden one (set 1186). I also made some alterations to the left arm to give it a more relaxed appearance. I painted the head with oils and the uniform with Enamels. The colors for these kind of uniforms are very different from what I have read in the magazines. So I took the liberty of using the guideline that was in the Tamiya brochure. And used a paint converter list to set the Tamiya color numbers to Hummbroll numbers

The final use of personal gear on the vehicle is a mix of Italerie, Royalmodel and Academy. Also the scratch made bedrolls are added here. The final lenses for the lights are replaced with MST lenses (4 mm ).

Finally I made a small vignette to set the vehicle on. The only thing I did not have at his stage is a figure that will go in this little dio (A mother with child from Azimuth). But as I write this article, this figure is has not arrived, so I have to wait for it. The final name I will give to this dio will be: " End of Days "

To give a summary of this model is: that for a beginner it is a good model. Except when you add the P.E. set from Eduard it is a model for the more experienced builder. The standard model will cost no more than 20 Dollars. With the P.E. set the model will cost you approximately 38 Dollars.

I'm confident now that building an Allied model can be as much fun as a German vehicle. And it won't be my last (Allied) vehicle.
