The signboard shows the wrong type of 37mm cartridge. What's depicted is the cartridge used with M1916(?) guns. The M5 or M6 gun in the M3A1 tank used a cartridge that was bottle-necked and about twice as long.

Kurt that is not meant to indicate the round used, it is just the symbol Bovington use to indicate the ammunition data.
