This is my Austin Tilly based on the Tamiya kit. The figures are from Accurate Armour and just for scale, the base is a generic one for the pics from SB models. It represents a vehicle form Headquarters 6th Armoured Division, in the UK between October1940 and April 1942.
I've added the build pictures on page 2 for a point of reference. It's not quite the done deal yet as I haven't settled on what stores to add

Hi Bill and Marcos,
Thanks for the kind words. This is a super kit to have in the Allied 1/35 scale range. Good time period of used too.
Cheers

Hi Alan,
That is one very nice Tilly that you have completed. It looks perfect in its setting, along with the two 'Ruperts' who are obviously engrossed in some important discussion; cricket scores, cost of new uniforms etc etc.
I really must push on with mine and load it up with some stores, before adding that superb SKP squaddy that you were so kind to give me. I have removed him from the stubs and undercoated him, ready to paint and have to say that he really looks fabulous.
Nicely done mate.................
Aye,
John

Hi John,
Many thanks. Look forward to your completed dio. Your Tilly was looking grand last time I looked. I haven't addded any storers either as I wanted to marry this one up with the early Valentine Mk II I built at some point.
The base is a handy one for some pics though.
Cheers

Nifty Valentine. Which kit is it, and did you use any AM stuff?
Whose cobblestone base?

Hi Bill,
The Valentine is the MiniArt kit the Mk VI which I built as a Mk II - the first kit.
I did a feature on it here:

A build blog here:

and a review here:

The only AM I used was the small tarp stowage on the rear, a Resicast Item from the Carrier builds. I did add some scratch work to the interior though.
On the Tilly there is a review here:

On the base Bill it is one of SB Models small generic resin bases. It's available under their SB Scotia Range which Stewart of SB Models produces. He has some neat stuff. Again reviewed here on site it is the Street Corner option from the list.

Hope that helps.

The base really brings it all together - looks good with the valentine too. Great little truck

Hi Alan,
Just checked in and will state that the Valentine is excellent, I dont know how you manage to maintain all of the inspiration to turn out great kit after great kit.
Your Tilly will sit very nicely alongside the Valentine on the eventual diorama.
What is that fabulous base, I assume that it is a commercial item in resin or plaster, as its simplicity is enough to show off vehicles, with no distractions.

Hi Bill,
Tamiya produced a fine kit in the Tilly.
John,
Thanks. The base is one made by Stewart of SB Models in his SB Scotia Range of acessories. Great for a small vehicle or tank. Again reviewed here:

MiniArt's range of Valentines are excellent.
