I am glad you like them Frank. I just hope it encourages some members to get down to Bovington either for the first time or in a while as the changes are good to see.

I would love to see one of the main stream manufacturers dip their toes into this area, someone like DML or Bronco. You never know it would most likely pay off for a company like MiniArt or MasterBox to give it a try due to the number of figure and artillery pieces which could accompany those releases.

Couldnt agree more ,, Bronco or Dargon or hell for that matter Tamiya making a FT17 or Mark 1 male or female would be a great thing for all armour modellers ..a main stream company makes it so much easier for alot of people to get their hands on the kits .. i know there is Ft17's out there but not easy to get for alot of people ,,If i remember rightly i think a company called Emar makes Mark 1 males and females in 1/35 but its easier getting gold plated chickens teeth than it is to get one of those ..come on the main stream model companies out there ..get off your backsides and make these kits ..we'll love you for it

Well, its been a while since this was first posted, but now it appears we are well served with this model. 2 in 1/35 and one in 1/16. Who would have thought?

Hi Frank,
Yes, the Meng 1/35 scale kit looks terrific. I haven't seen much about the Italeri kit yet, although I think it is out this month.
With the 100th anniversary coming up next year I do hope one of the manufacturers does a new plastic British option to the same standard as the Meng kit.
Thanks for the pics Darren, good selection of the restoration.
Cheers
Al

The Meng kit looks very nice ( check the Cracking The Box vid ). Really like the three opions for armament as well as the tripod for the Hotchkis mg . Haven't even seen one in the flesh yet , and I'm hoping someone makes an aftermarket riveted turret . Sorry always seem to want more....
