2nd place? The bar certainly is high around here. Wow!

That's exactly what I've been pointing out. The entries over the past several months have been nothing short of outstanding as a whole. It's been very impressive

Nice job on this one. The weathering is impressive. Thanks.

Some excellent work you have there. The weathering is outstanding, but no rust or chipping on the road wheels? Also, noticed the mantlet is a bit shiny for having been exposed to the elements. I think some markings would have helped, as well. I'm not saying I could have done any better, much less as well as.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. I used the hairspray technique for the scratches, I applied a dark grey/brown for bare metal then I applied the red primer, and finally the dark yellow. The final coat was very hard to scrub the scratches on I think it might of been too thick or my hairspray too thin, but it didn't turn out exactly as I had envisioned. I had to scrub really hard on the surface to get it to wear, so I wasn't able to make the fine scratches that I wanted. The scratching was a little to pronounced for a in service tank. All in all after I weathered it fully I was happy with the results. And being my first try at hairspray technique I was satisfied with results. I think this method will be perfect for a winter white wash in the future!

@nathan211-Nathan, Overall suburb job and congratulates on placing 2nd place. My favorite areas on your vehicle are the unpainted panels on the turret roof and engine deck, that really looks convincing. Thanks for sharing your build. -Eddy
