The Tow Vehicle Power Conditioner is used when the TOW system is mounted on the Humvee. This battery is what is actually on the kit part, so you need to add the cable. The cable is connected to the connector located to the right of the handle and the other end is physically attached to the vehicle batteries. So all you need to do is run the cable behind the kit passenger seat.
There is nothing much that can be down to the kit Optical Sight but add the Latch Assembly, and here is a good picture of one.
Ok, located on top of the Night Sight is the box I was talking about that the cable from the TU connects to. The connector is located on the side towards the front. At the rear of the sight, you see a small box with 7 screws and a little toggle switch. This is where the power cable is attached. It is attached directly under the toggle switch. In a second I will let you know what cable goes there. Moving on! Unlike the MGS, the Night Sight does not run on internal batteries, but an external battery source. The power connector I explained above, this is where either one of these is connected. The Vehicle Power Conditioner (VPC) is used when the TOW is mounted on the Humvee. The W2 cable is connected the night sight and the W1 cable is physically attached to the vehicle batteries. The box is usually attached right next to the passenger seat or on the back near the floorboard. The Battery Power Conditioner (BPC) is used when the TOW is dismounted.
Anatomy of a TOW Missile and a Launch Well, I hope with all this information, we will be seeing a lot of correctly cabled up TOW systems. If you all have any questions, feel free to ask. I know this is kind of vague for a person that has never touched a real system. It is pretty easy for me to type here and say this goes here and that goes there since I‘ve played with the real thing for the past 12 years.
Happy Modeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
