Great build, sure wish the kit was better. The drivers hatch is especially bad. You took a sow and made it into a silk purse. Tom

Vey nice work. I am just about to finish my own build and have 2 questions I can't seem to get reference on.The first,should there be a lens cover on what I presume is the search light and what is the correct fit for the shield in front of the machine gun?The instructions are very vauge with no attachment arrows and I can't make it out in any photos. Thanks for any help. Tom

Yes, you're right, not a set of the best, but not the worst quality. I am glad that in my work you can see something for Jeff. For stowage I used elements from different sets. Cardboard boxes Trumpeter, all the rest of the sets Tamiya, Legend and Academy. Always nice to hear an assessment model from a man who saw a prototype of this! Thanks for the tip, Kevin! Thank you for the evaluation of the model, Tom. I can not understand completely what you mean. You need photos of spotlight? Or how it is connected?

Hi Kirill, I solved the shield problem,in your photos there seems to be a clear cover on the light.Would that be correct?I checked my old Viet Nam version and it is covered with a clear lens.Don't remember if it came with the kit or I scratched it. Thanks, Tom

Hi, Tom! I understand what you are asking about the spotlight? Here's a photo on which I was guided.Of course the photo spotlight old model (Vietnam), but I think that the lens is the same. The Academy provides a set of two spotlights early and late. In the picture I saw of Iraqi vehicles later. Glass in the spotlight I made from the packaging of the tablets in the collection it is not. I think that the spotlight can be done as a cover or without. I decided to do without the cover, as in my opinion - this is a very interesting detail. I hope I understand your question. It is a pity that I did not know very well your language.=(

Thank you for your comment to the work of Gary! In fact, not everything turned out well, but the following works, I'll try to take into account the mistakes made.

i spent over three years in a Sheridan during my tour with the 2nd ACR back in 75-79. I can't understand why there is no really accurate Sheridan. There are a lot of problems with the new version that are just not acceptable for the industry. The drivers hatch is all wrong, the back deck is missing a lot of detail, (the grill doors have no grab handles)4 straps on the rear instead of 5 which requires removal, sanding and making new straps, the turret is a joke compared to most other AFVs out there. I disagree with Mr.Sewell's review. this kit is a joke and is way below any modern standard. This kit deserves a better representation than the Academy's dismal upgrade of the old '70s Kit. This little tank served from Viet Nam, the Cold War the Gulf War and even Panama! Dragon, please give us a worthy effort on a Sheridan!
