1⁄35Tiger Late, Normandy 1944

This is the Tamiya Tiger Late, built with complete Verlinden interior and engine bay, Cavalier zimmerit, Tiger Model Designs asymmetrical turret and track hangars, Fruil tracks, Eduard P/E and gun barrel, and Techmod decals representing a vehicle from the Schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 101.
It is finished in Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics using Iwata airbrushes, and weathered with MIG products. The figure is of unknown origin, and the cans and barrels are from the old Tamiya set.

Thanks a ton Rick - I thought it might be Warriors, and even called it that on my blog, but the more I thought about it, the less I could remember... built the tank about 5 or 6 years ago. I do appreciate it!

@DieselRocket – Kyle,
You’ve done an outstanding job of bringing the old Tamiya kit up to date and them some!
Suburb job on the figure the vehicles camouflage and weathering and display base. The damage to the Zimmerit paste looks realistic too. My favorite part of this build is the chain draped around the front headlight. Excellent set of photographs to show off an inspirational build!
Thanks for sharing and featuring your build here, hoping to see more of your work,
~ Eddy

Geraint and Eddy, thank you both.
Every now and then I like to go "all out" and this was one of those few times. Expensive to throw the kitchen sink at these things! I'm appreciative of your opinions, and I too hope I will be able to share more with Armorama in the future.
