The dio looks great overall. There is one issue with it though. The BM-13 is not accurate for WWII. It is on a post-war Zil-151 chassis. In WWII, the chassis for a BM-13 was a Studabaker US6 truck or a Zis-6 truck. US6 BM-13 Zis-6 BM-13

Great looking diorama

Yes, a wonderful elaborate set up. I especially like the paint effects on the front of the truck, and also image 7, showing the man coming out through the door, is a great photo, with a great dynamic look to it. On this truck business, perhaps we can assume that Michael is working, as it were, to the suggestion made on the Engines of the Red Army site, and that it is meant to be a Lend-Lease International Harvester K7 rather than a ZiL-151. The theory is, I believe, that as the post war 151 was based on the K7, it is assumed that some such vehicles were supplied to the Soviet Union during WW2. I think it may be the case that there are no photographs confirming this theory, but as we know, the Red Army didn't exactly go overboard on taking photos during this war, unlike their opponents.

The moment you are looking on the news on armora und suddendly see your own Diorama without expecting it Thank for your compliments!!! To clear up the problem with the Katyusha: It realy is an BM-13. But its hard so see, on the little metal-plate on the lower left corner is written: "Germania 1947". This is a What-If Diorama in 1947 placed in the renamed Berlin, now known as Germania. I always wanted to build the Rocket-Launcher and i dont like the one on the Zis-6. This is why i choose this paper-projekt. Forgive me! There are also some more Pictures and some of my other Dioramas on my Blog LINK There will be more progress in the next time, because this was just my third Diorama.
